The
Micro Enterprises Support Programme Trust (MESPT) is a development organization
with a purpose to grow smallholder farmers and Agri SMEs across Kenya to
increase productivity, income and enhance competitiveness for job creation. The
Trust was established in 2002, and its founders are the Government of Kenya and
DANIDA.
MESPT is preparing
its register of suppliers for various goods, works, services and consultancies
for the period 2021-2022. Interested suppliers are invited to apply for
registration, indicating the category of goods, works, services or consultancy
they wish to be registered in. Firms registered under the Youth, Women and
Persons with Disability and Small & Medium Enterprises are encouraged to
apply. Special Groups should show proof of registration with the National
Treasury (Directorate of Procurement) by providing the certificate of
registration to be considered.
The procuring
entity’s employees, and their relatives (spouses and children) are not eligible
to participate in this prequalification process.

expression of interest:

incorporation/registration.
2.
A copy of current and valid Tax
Compliance certificate/Exemption from KRA
3.
PIN certificate.
4.
Copy of Trading License/Permit from
County Government where applicable.
5.
Duly signed audited financial
statement for the immediate last two years.
6.
A certified true copy of CR12
7.
Recommendation letters for provision
of similar works
8.
Proof of registration with relevant
regulatory bodies for categories that requires professional approvals (E.g.,
National Construction Authority for works, National Industrial Training
Authority for training, Insurance Regulatory Authority for Insurance etc.)
where applicable.
9.
A duly completed EOI application
form (available on https://mespt.org/procurement/under
prequalification/registration of vendors)

charge, the issuance of this EOI solicitation does NOT in any way obligate
MESPT into making an award. Applicants will not be reimbursed for any costs
